About Hannah E.B. Prado
M.A., RYT, RPYT (she/her/hers)
Hannah is a Virginian mother, musician, and yoga practitioner with a decade of teaching experience. Hannah is a Registered Yoga Teacher and a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is a graduate student in the M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the College of William & Mary and is interested in specializing in perinatal and parental mental health. In addition, Hannah is interested in the intersections of creative practice, movement, and wellness. Having experienced the tremendous benefits of a consistent yoga and mindfulness practice during her first pregnancy and transition into motherhood, Hannah decided to pivot her teaching from traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga toward working with the perinatal population. And, in 2021, Peaceful Seedling was born! Hannah enjoys helping old and new yoga students alike find a sustainable practice throughout their journey into parenthood. She employs modifications, hands-on adjustments (with consent), and optional props to ensure that her students remain safe and comfortable during their practice. Hannah brings a balance of tradition and playfulness to her teaching style and threads her love of music and sound throughout her classes. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in openness, empathy, and a willingness to embrace each student as unique to their path. She looks forward to working with you!
